R.E.M. and Patti Smith - E-Bow the Letter

R.E.M. is pretty good sometimes. They do have some pretty good songs, such as Losing My Religion and they have some pretty crappy ones. Shiny Happy People? Seriously?

Anyways, this lesser known song is definatly in the former catagory. Especially because it features Patti Smith. And sometimes Thom Yorke sings Patti’s part when they play it live, which is pretty cool.

This song falls in the sad sombre catagory. Also i recommend you read the lyrics, because they’re probably the best that Michael Stipe has ever written.
